The product: Rado True Thinline Nature Collection

Why we love it: This watch is seriously stylish, and seriously low-profile.

The suitably named True Thinline timepiece is crafted from high-tech ceramic so it’s lightweight and sits comfortably on the wrist. But what we really love about this new nature-inspired collection are the cool colours the watches come in.

Created in partnership with the Grandi Giardini Italiani, an organization that works to promote the rich heritage of Italian gardens, the collection pieces aim to, “celebrate the intersection between design and nature,” according to a news release.

This inspiration translates into three timepieces inspired by three earthy elements: a taupebrown watch for earth; a midnight blue watch for water; and a rich green watch for leaf. Our favourite of the collection is the green hue, which boasts a tonal mother-of-pearl dial meant to reflect the unique pattern found in the structure of a leafy green.

It’s an unexpected colour departure for a watch that makes it unique and attentiongrabbing.

The quartz-movement watches feel ultra-modern, yet also stylishly simple and would be as at home on the wrist of a young millennial as they would on a longtime timepiece collector. The price: $2,450
