FU MANCHU AND MOS GENERATOR

Talk about an evening of full-on riff-rock stoner action. Modified Ghost presents California’s hard-rocking Fu Manchu tearing through songs from its latest noisy opus, Clone of the Universe. The concept album is divided into four distinct sections, each maximizing the fuzz and wah attack the band is known for. Oh, and Il Mostro Atomico features Alex Lifeson of Rush. Mos Generator is one of the best bands to come out of the Washington rock scene in decades. These guys from Port Orchard have done some seriously tasty covers and mash-up tracks, of which the Dance of Red — combining King Crimson’s Red and the Mahavishnu Orchestra’s the Dance of Maya — is a personal fave.
