AQUARELA DO BRASIL: AN EXPLOSIVE CELEBRATION OF MUSIC AND DANCE

Master drummer Salvador Ferreras leads a crack ensemble of musicians and dancers in a show devoted to the myriad rhythms and musical styles of Brazil and celebrating the 60-year anniversary of the beginning of the bossa nova craze kicked off by Joao Gilberto’s single Chega de Saudade and the 1959 French film Black Orpheus. Playing a selection of classics from the Brazilian musical canon, and featuring singer/guitarist Celso Machado, this should be a night to dance in the aisles.
