Residents of Alexander Square will be close to it all

Project in Willoughby Town Centre near shops, restaurants and commuter routes

- ROBIN BRUNET

Amid Langley’s unique mix of rural and urban attractions is the new master-planned Willoughby Town Centre, a lively residential, retail and services hub around which some of the region’s most desirable new homes are situated – the most notable of which is Alexander Square, developed by RDG Management Ltd.

Alexander Square is a collection of twoand three- bedroom homes located at the corner of 208th Street and 80th Avenue, placing its residents directly across from pedestrian-friendly shops, restaurants, yoga facilities, schools, and easy access to commuter routes and public transit.

Jessica Long, licensed sales manager for Fifth Avenue Real Estate Marketing Ltd., says: “Everything you could want is within footsteps or easy walking distance, including a 52-acre park under development and a new 216th Street access to Highway 1 that complements the highway access from 200th Street.” Plus, a leisurely bicycle ride or a quick drive by car takes Alexander Square homeowners to the historic community of Fort Langley to enjoy boutique shopping, eclectic eateries and local goods.

RDG, which is responsible for the awardwinning Ridge at Bose Farms and The Wex (the latter also in Willoughby), appreciates that any prime location must be supported by an equally special residential development, and visually Alexander Square contributes to Willoughby ’s casual-urban ambience with its deep cedar finished overhangs, large balconies and regal lobbies.

The condominiums have been thoughtfully designed with efficiency, as well as luxury in mind. For example, owners can rest assured in the fact that their homes are protected by an envelope of durable Hardipanel siding, energy-saving windows and sound-insulated party walls and floors. But they are also pampered by kitchens featuring floor-to-ceiling cabinets, deep square sinks and quartz stone countertops, and main baths and ensuites with European matte finish cabinets and large-format snow-white tiled surrounds.

There is also a pleasing sense of space, thanks to nine-foot ceilings in all homes and 13-foot vaults on the top floor units. “The collection of remaining corner homes feature your choice of beautiful views from the northern mountains to the sunsets in the west,” says Long.

RDG is famous for its attention to detail, and in Alexander Square, this takes the form of pet-friendly residences that have direct access to a dog walk, a fitness centre, entertainment lounge and community garden plots shared by both the Alexa and Xander buildings.

As with all of RDG’s projects, Alexander Square is receiving considerable interest from prospective buyers, and Long urges interested parties to check the project’s website and visit the presentation centre with homes starting at $332,900 plus GST. “Alexander Square is a great opportunity to live in Willoughby Town Centre, which is rapidly becoming one of Langley most vibrant neighbourhoods,” says Long.

Presentation centre is located at 150 – 20202 66th Ave., Langley (open noon to 5 p.m., daily except Friday). For more information, call 778 366-8855, visit www.alexandersquare.ca or email info@alexandersquare.ca.
