Q Why were some women in Indonesia called on the carpet?

-

A Indonesian female cyclists were summoned by authorities in the conservative province of Aceh over their “sexy” attire — photos showed nine women and a man, all wearing long-sleeved, pink T-shirts and dark trousers, but most of the women were without an Islamic head scarf under their cycling helmets. “We summoned them to the office,” the mayor said. “They publicly apologized and said they would not do it again.” Aceh is the only Indonesian province that practises sharia law.
