Sunshine list spotlight

The City of Clarence-Rockland has eight nominees in this year’s Ontario Sunshine Report. The annual public informatio­n report details provincial and municipal staff who make more than $100,000 as their annual salary.

On the list this year from Clarence-Rockland are Chief Administra­tor Helen Collier, Finance/Economic Developmen­t Director Robert Kehoe. Operations Coordinato­r Bernard Saumier, Community Services Director Pierre Boucher, Bylaw Services Director Yves Rivard, Engineerin­g/ Operations Manager Yves Rousselle, and Deputy Fire Chief Mario Villeneuve.

Fire Chief Pierre Sabourin, now retired, had also made the list.

From Alfred-Plantagene­t Township, chief administra­tor Marc Daigneault and Public Works Director Roch Hébert made the list.

Stéphane Parisien, chief administra­tor for the United Counties of Prescott-Russell is on the list, along with Hélène Fournier, Valoris director-general.

More than 120 staff for le Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l’Est ontarien made the Sunshine list along with 160 members of le Conseil des écoles publiques de l’est de l’Ontario.

he Upper Canada District School Board has 320 employees listed while the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario has half as many.
