Washed away
The section of railway track that runs across Schneider Creek was damaged after the culvert underneath was washed out during heavy rain last week. The bit of track is nestled in a swath of green space just south of Balzer Road and the Balzer Road Trail. Goderich-Exeter Railway will work with the City of Kitchener on repairs. Repairs are also underway for parts of city trails that were damaged by last week’s heavy rainfall.
