You may want to combine your maple trail visit with Stratford’s Salute to Spring, an annual tradition where the city’s swans march to the music of pipes and drums to the Avon River. The celebration takes place April 1 and 2, with the swan parade taking place at 2 p.m. on the Sunday. There is also live entertainment, interactive children’s fun, pop-up stalls and food trucks. Maple trail participants may only use one voucher per location. Also, there is limited availability on Mondays and Tuesdays.
