19-year-old man facing stunt driving charges

Police say they nabbed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed in the northbound lanes of Highway 8 in Kitchener on Sunday night. A 19-year-old Kitchener man was arrested and charged with stunt driving after a car was clocked at 160 km/h in a 90 km/h zone at about 10 p.m. Police say the man’s licence has been suspended for seven days and his car was also impounded for seven days. He also faces charges for possession of marijuana.
