Man points knife at security guard at mall

A 40-year-old Kitchener man was arrested after a knife was pointed at a mall security guard at Fairview Park mall on Tuesday. Waterloo Regional Police were called to the mall at about 11 a.m. after a report of a theft. Police said a security officer approached a man who allegedly stole an item and the man pointed a knife at him. The man was arrested. No one was injured.
