Community Support Connections — Meals on Wheels and More is looking for volunteer drivers to transport socially isolated seniors and adults with disabilities to and from the community luncheon program once or twice a month. Volunteer drivers are invited to stay and enjoy the delicious hot meal, or they can simply drop the client off and drive them home at the end of the program. As a volunteer driver, you will be helping some of our most vulnerable neighbours get out of the house and make new friends. Flexible time commitment. REEP Green Solutions is looking for a volunteer co-ordinator to deepen our engagement with volunteers and lead the implementation of our volunteer plan. Your passion for sustainability will guide the recruitment, hiring, and success of people with diverse backgrounds and opinions as dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who play key roles on the REEP Green Solutions team. Experience and/or training is sought in volunteer management, establishing connections and working with diverse communities, to make the most of a broad mix of people for creativity, innovation, and achieving the organization’s mission and vision.
