Fire trucks, fundraiser walks and Tri-Pride this weekend
WATERLOO REGION — There’s a lot to do in the region this weekend from a vintage fire truck parade in Cambridge to fundraiser walks in Kitchener and Waterloo. Here’s a short list: Celebrate 175 years of the Cambridge Fire Department on Saturday with a parade of old fire trucks and an afternoon of fun activities. There will be firefighter demonstrations, fire safety tips, food trucks and activities for children.
Walk to fight arthritis in Kitchener on Sunday. The Arthritis Society raises money for research to help find a cure. You can choose from a one-kilometre or five-kilometre route.

Tri-Pride ends two weeks of activities to celebrate the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and questioning) community this weekend with a music festival on Saturday and a picnic in the park on Sunday.
