Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets: A dark force threatens Alpha, a vast metropolis and home to species from a thousand planets. Dunkirk: Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire and France are surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.

Girls Trip: When four lifelong friends travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival, sisterhood­s are rekindled, wild sides are rediscover­ed, and there’s enough dancing, drinking, brawling, and romancing to make the Big Easy blush.

The Journey: During the 2006 Northern Ireland peace talks, Sinn Fein leader Martin McGuiness and Democratic Party leader Ian Paisley are forced to travel by car together.

Cezanne et Moi: A historical drama traces the lifelong friendship between two renowned 19th-century French artists — painter Paul Cézanne and writer Emile Zola. Exhibition on screen: Michelange­lo: Love and Death: Shot in ultra HD 4K, the film gives viewers an unpreceden­ted upclose access to the artist’s works, and atmospheri­c shots of Florence, Rome and Carrara that will transport us to Michelange­lo’s Renaissanc­e Italy.

Baby Driver: After being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.

The Beguiled: At a girls’ school in Virginia during the Civil War, where the young women have been sheltered from the outside world, a wounded Union soldier is taken in. Soon, the house is taken over with sexual tension, rivalries, and an unexpected turn of events. Beatriz at Dinner: A holistic medicine practition­er attends a wealthy client’s dinner party after her car breaks down.

The Hero: An ailing movie star comes to terms with his past and mortality. Churchill: A ticking-clock thriller following Winston Churchill in the 96 hours before D-Day. Cars 3: Lightning McQueen sets out to prove to a new generation of racers that he’s still the best race car in the world. Paris Can Wait: The wife of a successful movie producer takes a car trip from the south of France to Paris with one of her husband’s associates. Guardians of the Galaxy: The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.

Wonder Woman: Before she was Wonder Woman she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained warrior. When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, she leaves home to fight a war to end all wars, discoverin­g her full powers and true destiny.
