Po­lice re­lease sketch of man wanted in as­sault in­ves­ti­ga­tion

Water­loo Re­gional Po­lice have re­leased a sketch of a man they want to speak with as part if an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into an as­sault that oc­curred out­side the Sun­rise Shop­ping Cen­tre this week. At 9 p.m. on Tues­day, a 28-year-old Kitch­ener woman was as­saulted with a stun gun by a man who ap­proached her as she was re­turn­ing to her ve­hi­cle af­ter shop­ping. The woman ran away and con­tacted po­lice. Po­lice de­scribe the sus­pect as a His­panic male in his early to mid-20s with puffy cheeks, a soft-spo­ken voice, and no no­tice­able ac­cent. He is five-foot-four inches tall with a heav­ier build and has black hair with puffy curls be­hind his ears. He does not have fa­cial hair. He was last seen flee­ing the area at a high speed in a light coloured ve­hi­cle, wear­ing a black T-shirt with a de­sign on the front and baggy knee-length shorts.
