Arts council/credit union hold workshop for arts business owners

Guelph Arts Council in collaboration with Meridian Credit Union will offer an interactive workshop entitled Small Business Finance for Creative Professionals. The workshop is designed for creative types to help with day-to-day and small business finance planning. Led by Meridian Credit Union staff with support from local accountants and bookkeepers, the workshop is a followup to the June workshop Financial Literacy for Creative Professionals. The workshop runs 6 to 9 p.m., Oct. 17, at the main branch of Guelph Public Library, 100 Norfolk St. and is pay-what-you-can. Proceeds donated to Guelph Arts Council.
