Food4Kids needs your help meeting goal for 2017-18

Directly impact the lives of children: Join our volunteer team today. Food4Kids Waterloo Wellington is committed to providing the nourishmen­t that our most vulnerable children require on the weekends. Our goal in 2017-18 is to meet the needs of 320 children living with severe food insecurity. Needed immediatel­y: volunteers to support a thirdparty New Year’s Eve event. Must be over the age of 19 and have their own transporta­tion. Volunteers interested in office support including taking minutes at the evening board and committee meetings, entry into donation software, filing, and other office support. Mennonite Central Committee has a need for fabric cutters. This is a hands-on opportunit­y to contribute to relief and developmen­t work around the world by cutting fabric that will be used to create beautiful handmade blankets. MCC blankets are sent to people in crisis situations to provide not only warmth but also a message to people that their needs are not forgotten. Training is provided. The Business and Education Partnershi­p of Waterloo Region (BEP) is looking for volunteers from all areas of expertise and all sectors to join our Speakers Bureau.
