2 cups all-purpose flour ½ cup cocoa powder ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 1 cup butter (room temperatur­e) ½ cup icing sugar 1 egg 2 tsp vanilla 2 tbsp milk 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ cup icing sugar (for dusting the tops)

1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. 2. Place flour in a large mixing bowl. Sift in cocoa powder to avoid lumps, and add salt and baking powder. Whisk until combined. 3. Blend butter and sugar together in a separate bowl. Mix until creamy (1-2 minutes), then add in egg, vanilla extract and milk. Mix until combined. 4. Add wet ingredient­s to dry ingredient­s and gradually

mix in chocolate chips. 5. Using a spoon, take lumps of dough and form into balls. Place on a lined cookie sheet (about 1-2 inches apart from each other). 6. Bake cookies for 12 minutes. Allow chocolate balls to cool on cookie sheet for an additional minute before transferri­ng to cooling racks. 7. Coat in icing sugar before serving.
