2 cups all-purpose flour ½ cup cocoa powder ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 1 cup butter (room temperature) ½ cup icing sugar 1 egg 2 tsp vanilla 2 tbsp milk 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ cup icing sugar (for dusting the tops)

1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. 2. Place flour in a large mixing bowl. Sift in cocoa powder to avoid lumps, and add salt and baking powder. Whisk until combined. 3. Blend butter and sugar together in a separate bowl. Mix until creamy (1-2 minutes), then add in egg, vanilla extract and milk. Mix until combined. 4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and gradually
mix in chocolate chips. 5. Using a spoon, take lumps of dough and form into balls. Place on a lined cookie sheet (about 1-2 inches apart from each other). 6. Bake cookies for 12 minutes. Allow chocolate balls to cool on cookie sheet for an additional minute before transferring to cooling racks. 7. Coat in icing sugar before serving.
