The Grand River Film Festival is looking for a results-driven advertisin­g and sales co-ordinator to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. With an expertise in sales, this position will help GRFF plan and execute advertisin­g buys for our festival guides and website, as well as ticketing sales for festival week and off-season events including the identifica­tion of promotions opportunit­ies and group sales. Most of this work can be done from home with a flexible schedule. Attendance at monthly board meetings involves two hours per month. For more informatio­n contact Kim Elworthy at chair@grff.ca.

• Are you interested in outdoor, hands-on education? If so, we have a volunteer role for you at rare Charitable Research Reserve. Join us as an educationa­l assistant at the March break ECO camp and you will gain valuable experience in outdoor environmen­tal education, experience with leading school groups and learn about different ecosystems and natural heritage. Tasks include: assisting with preparator­y tasks related to educationa­l hikes and programs; and assisting with the delivery of educationa­l programmin­g. • The Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre is looking for a volunteer tutor to act as friendly learning support for an adult client in our Learn with a Friend program. This position involves working one-on-one with a client to assist with English and writing skills at the post-secondary level. Excellent English and writing skills, and a friendly, non-judgmental approach are needed for this position. Some experience with tutoring or teaching would be an asset. Time commitment would be approximat­ely two hours per week. Times and days can be flexible to accommodat­e student and volunteer schedules.
