Community Support Connection­s — Meals on Wheels and More is seeking volunteer drivers to deliver hot, nutritious meals to socially isolated seniors and adults with disabiliti­es during the noon hour, Monday to Friday. Let us know when you’re available, and we’ll work with your schedule. Mileage reimbursem­ent available. If you have the “drive” to help others, please call 519-772-8787 and ask for a member of the volunteer team.

The City of Cambridge hosts several special events during the months of June, July and August that need day-of-event volunteers. Volunteer for only one event or several of the events. Whether you are looking to complete volunteer hours for school, looking to meet new people or looking to give back to your community; special events are for you. Shifts are flexible. Duties can include setup, takedown, informatio­n booth, entry gates and handing out wristbands. Be part of Kultrun — an awesome summer music festival. Neruda Arts’ presents its fifth annual large-scale, free, summer festival in Victoria Park. The festival will feature local, national and internatio­nal artists, allages activities, workshops by profession­al artists, storytelli­ng, performanc­e art and more. We seek volunteers for many roles including helping with promotions, greeting festival goers, canvassing/surveying participan­ts, helping with hospitalit­y, setting up and tearing down.
