The Social Planning Council of Cambridge & North Dumfries is holding an all-candidates meeting for North Dumfries Township 7 to 9 p.m. at McNeil Hall in the North Dumfries Community Complex, 2958 Greenfield Rd, Ayr.

Oct. 10

The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of OntarioWat­erloo Region hosts its final all-candidates meeting for candidates running in Waterloo Region District School Board in Cambridge. Rather than a formal debate, the format will allow people to engage with candidates through smallgroup discussion­s. Candidates will rotate every five minutes to a different table, and participan­ts will be encouraged to ask questions on topics important to them. Oct. 10

The Waterloo Regional Apartment Management Associatio­n (WRAMA)

invites City of Waterloo mayoral and councillor candidates as well as Region of Waterloo chair and councillor candidates to a discussion about rental licensing and affordable housing in Waterloo. Oct. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Golf’s Steak House, 598 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener. Admission is free for WRAMA members; the event is open to the public ($5 entrance fee at the door).

Social Developmen­t Centre Waterloo Region will co-host a meet-thecandida­te event. Sitting in groups, we discuss issues while candidates listen and later reflect on what they heard. The Waterloo Meet the Candidate event is Oct. 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. at First United Church, 16 William St. W., Waterloo. www.waterloore­gion.org.

The Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum for mayoral candidates in Waterloo at 4 p.m. at RIM Park (Forbes Hall). Oct. 18
