Christmas in Cambridge festival needs volunteers

Christmas in Cambridge is looking for volunteers between Nov. 23 and Dec. 31. The festival takes place in various locations throughout the City of Cambridge. Volunteer duties include event setup and takedown, informatio­n booth, being a mascot or an event greeter. Whether you are looking to earn volunteer hours, get involved in the community or want to meet new people, Christmas in Cambridge is for you. Most events take place outside. Make a difference in a child’s life: K-W Habilitati­on has volunteer opportunit­ies with our Early Learning, Child Care and

Family Resources program to provide support to a child or small group of children in child care programs in Waterloo Region. Early Learning Enrichment volunteers help children build skills in all areas of developmen­t. Volunteers gain hands on experience working with children with developmen­tal and mental health concerns. • Daytime volunteers are needed to help The Food Bank of Waterloo Region organize and distribute food in customer service or as a driver/driver assistant. Join our volunteer drivers and assist with food pickups from local grocery stores, businesses, and organizati­ons or provide support to members of the public entering our warehouse.
