The team at Waterloo Nissan are enthusiastic about the 2018 Titan and are especially exited about the Midnight Edition that rolled onto the dealership lot in February and has created quite the buzz in automotive circles. Sales of Titan trucks has doubled since the vehicle was re-designed and engineered. The Titan received a full re-design in 2017 that produced a vehicle with a larger capacity and an all new look with a bold design that creates a beautiful silhouette on the road. The highly detailed engineering that went into the new design has been carried over the the 2018 model Titan. From its distinctive and functional front grille, the Titan has contoured lines that sweep back from its unique headlight design to a fully functional and convenient tailgate design that features available bed lighting and 110 V outlets for on the job assistance. Available in several trim levels, and cab designs, there are two powerplants to choose from. A 5.6 L, 32 valve, V8 engine turns out 390 horsepower with 394 lb-ft of torque and is mated with a seven speed transmission. For Diesel enthusiasts, select the Titan XD model. The XD is available with a 5.0 L, Cummins Turbo-Diesel that provides 555 lb-ft of torque. Noted for its massive torque and ability for hauling heavy loads, the Cummins Diesel is highly regarded as a leading powerplant that gets the job done efficiently with impressive ability on hilly roads. For those that use their truck for towing the new XD has an incredible 12,000 lb towing capacity. An available integrated gooseneck hitch is built right into the frame providing exceptional strength and is designed to flip over when not needed allowing for a flat bed surface. With a 2000 lb payload capacity, the Titan has the strength and rugged design for any job site or for towing a trailer or boat and all your extra gear for a weekend getaway. The interior is designed for maximum comfort with plenty of room while allowing for easy access to controls and the main console. With extra care given to engineering the suspension, the Titan provides a smooth ride even on rougher gravel roads. The cabin has been designed to be extra quiet

with all around sound stopping laminated glass. The standard push button start eliminates the need for a key ring. Keep the Nissan Intelligent Key in your pocket and start the engine with the push of a button. Keeping up with the latest technology, the Titan has an available onscreen navigation system and on-line search function. The screen also allows you to stay connected through social media, traffic and weather reports, and many other on-line applications. An available Around View Monitor provides a virtual 360 degree around the vehicle to assist when parking. The new Midnight Edition is Nissan’s latest design and just like it sounds, it puts a little mystery into the look of the vehicle. The Midnight version is available for several Nissan vehicles but is especially complimentary with the Titan’s design. The all black version creates a stunning effect when all the extras – all black – are in place. It creates a sleek package of highly polished design and style wrapped up in the Titan’s already sleek and aerodynamic profile. With 20-inch black painted aluminum-alloy wheels, black step rails, exclusive dark headlights, and dark interior and exterior accents including roof rails, the Midnight Edition casts an unmistakable shadow. The Midnight Edition is also available in both white and gray. The lighter colour with black rims, rails, and accents, makes the vehicle stand out like no other on the road. Nissan will be hosting some special events coming up that will give truck enthusiasts a great opportunity to see the Titan and the Midnight Edition.
