Remembranc­e Day services in Waterloo Region

• Waterloo’s Remembranc­e Day ceremony starts on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the Waterloo cenotaph behind city hall on Regina and Williams streets. The parade will form up at 10 a.m. on Bridgeport Road East and Regina Street North.

The Waterloo Bells of Peace ceremony will start at 4:45 p.m. at the cenotaph with bells beginning to ring at 5:01 p.m.

It’s also 100th anniversar­y of the end of the First World War.

• Kitchener’s Remembranc­e Day ceremony is on Sunday at the cenotaph on the corner of Duke and Frederick Streets at 10:45 a.m. The parade will form up at 10:15 a.m. on Ontario Street between King and Duke streets.

• Preston’s service is on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the cenotaph on 615 King St. E. The parade will form up at 10:15 a.m. at the legion on 334 Westminste­r Dr. N.

• Galt’s ceremony is on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. at the cenotaph on 82 Ainslie St. The parade will form up at 9:30 a.m. at the legion on 4 Veterans Way at 10:15 a.m.

• Hespeler’s ceremony is on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the cenotaph on the corner of Queen and Tannery. The parade will form up at 10:15 a.m. at the legion on 26 Schofield St.

• The New Dundee ceremony is at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the New Dundee School on 1430 Bridge St.

• The New Hamburg ceremony is at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the New Hamburg Arena and Community Centre on 251 Jacob St.
