Madeleine Hykamp

Madeleine is a natural leader, understanding the importance of hard work, setting ambitious goals and going beyond expectations. She is committed to her studies and excels academically. Madeleine participated in a range of transformational experiences including travelling to Nepal, winning OFSAA field hockey gold, and demonstrating community leadership through her role as a house captain. She is calm in the face of adversity, thoughtful in her decision making and incredibly respectful. Her leadership style is characteristic of her: authentic, connected and personal. As she goes on to Queen’s University this fall, there is no doubt that Madeleine will make an impact there, just as she has at SJK. Congratulations! Parents: Christine and Eric Hykamp

Michael Milovick

Michael has been an integral part of the SJK community since Kindergarten, taking advantage of all that SJK has to offer from the start of his educational journey. Michael is not only incredibly dedicated to his studies, with many academic awards and achievements to his name, but is also an exceptional student leader. Described by his teachers as genuine and funny, Michael’s friendly demeanor made him an excellent fit on the student council, as well as a dedicated house captain. Michael excelled athletically, participating in Varsity soccer and basketball at SJK, as well as thriving as an accomplished football player outside of school. We wish Michael all the best in his next chapter at the University of Waterloo! Parents: Jennifer Shingler and Mike Milovick
