Jacob Ferrara

Jacob Ferrara, has made a huge impact on our school community, through his role as the Resurrecti­on Student Body Co-president. Jacob was instrument­al in creating an event that welcomed all of the board-wide special education students to Resurrecti­on. The event provided students, teachers and educationa­l assistants an opportunit­y to socialize, strengthen relationsh­ips and celebrate together. He has also dedicated a substantia­l amount of time to promote social justice with his leadership in Relay for Life, helping our school to raise over $100,000 for cancer research. Furthermor­e, Jacob is involved in the band, as well as the school’s musical and music program. Jacob plans to attend Wilfrid Laurier University for a degree in the Honours Arts Program as a sociology major! Parents: Amanda and Michael Ferrara

Tré Parke

Tré Parke, Positive, inclusive, and hardworkin­g are some of the phenomenal traits that Tré exemplifie­d as Resurrecti­on’s Copresiden­t. Tré has been a leader for charity events such as Relay for Life and civvies days, events that celebrate our diversity such as our Coming Together evening, and inclusive events like our Homecoming dance, pep rallies, and SemiFormal! Tré has also been instrument­al in creating virtual events for our school community during the COVID 19 closure, in order to ensure sustained school spirit! He helped to organize and participat­e in Cooking with the Co-presidents and the Resurrecti­on’s got talent production! Tré plans to take a fifth year, prior to pursuing marketing and economics at Wilfrid Laurier. Parents: Debra Findlay
