Marie Behnke

Marie is an exceptional student in all areas academically, but on top of that she has been a warm, enthusiastic and welcoming role model for all age groups as a member of many groups in the W-O Music Department and Co-Chair of Music Council. Active in the community, she is extremely organized, but always places the well-being and success of people above any agenda. She has mentored others through her encouragement, performance skills, and dedication to rehearsals. Her excitement to learn and help others is contagious and helps to create a space of comfort, joy, and acceptance. Narein Chenthivelnathan

Narein is a tremendous leader as a student voice at the Board level as one of two elected Student Trustees from the Waterloo Region District School Board. This is not surprising as he has been a leader in our school Student Activities Council, DECA Chapter, and Safe, Caring, and Inclusive School team. His commitment to excellence has been recognized in DECA competition, where he was an International Champion at DECA Internationals. He is a caring committed person, a commercial pilot, and true leader for the future of his generation. Plans for Next Year: The University of Waterloo, Hons.
