Four new COVID cases confirmed

Four new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Waterloo Region. The Wednesday morning update by public health pushes the total cases to 1,329, compared to Tuesday’s 1,325. Deaths remained at 116. Of the local cases, 1,146 are resolved, 67 are active and 13 are hospitalized. Resolved cases now account for 86 per cent of cases. No outbreaks are declared at long-term-care or retirement homes, group homes, workplaces or hospitals.
