Thinkbike Whistler (June 1 – 4): See the latest and greatest from the world’s best biking and gear manufactur­ers at various locations throughout Whistler. This is your chance to test ride the newest models on Whistler’s trails. Visit thinkbikew­histler.com.

Whistler Multicultu­ral Festival (June 9): Culture, music, food and dance will be on display in Florence Petersen Park at the Whistler Public Library and Whistler Museum, 4 to 8 p.m. The festival is open to the public and free of charge. Visit whistlermu­lticultura­lnetwork.com.

Tough Mudder, Tough Mudder Half and Toughest Mudder (June 17 – 18): Tough Mudder is a hardcore 16- to 19-kilometre (10- to 12-mile) obstacle course with militaryst­yle obstacles designed to test participan­ts physically and mentally. The Tough Mudder Half is a less intimidati­ng eight km (five mile) course. A new event, the Toughest Mudder, is an eight-hour overnight event, with exclusive obstacles.
