Audain Art Museum Walk and Talk Tours (year-round): Every Wednesday through Sunday, at select times, join their knowledgeable docents on a one-hour introduction tour of the museum, which is included in the admission. Toonie Rides (starting early May): Every week for 20 weeks, Whistler’s Off-Road Cycling Association (WORCA) hosts Thursday night Toonie Rides with the sponsorship of local businesses and organizations. The rides are $2 (Toonie) and followed by an après event. Visit worca.com.
Whistler Farmers’ Market (May 20 – Oct. 7): The Whistler Farmers’ Market returns to the pedestrian streets of the Upper Village Stroll every Sunday this summer, featuring local produce, tasty artisan foods, local artists, and entertainment. Times: Sundays and long weekend Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays 2 to 7 p.m. (July 4 – Aug. 29). Visit whistlerfarmersmarket.org. Phat DH Wednesdays presented by Kokanee (starting May 30): Test your downhill skills with competing locals and visitors alike. Races take place in the Whistler Bike Park with après at the GLC and prizes from sponsors. Limited to 200 racers so register early, 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the base.
