Woman found dead; child unhurt

MONTREAL The body of a 21-year-old woman was found in a Montreal apartment early Saturday morning, along with an unharmed two- year- old, and investigators are treating it as a suspicious death.

Police were called to the scene by the victim’s family, who hadn’t heard from the woman in days. Officers discovered the woman in an apartment on the city’s south shore at about 3 a.m.
