OUA hockey

The sixth-place Lancers women’s hockey team defeated Queen’s 3-2 Sunday at South Windsor Arena.

Candace Chevalier, Courtney Spoors and Krysten Bortolotti each scored goals for the Lancers, who moved to sixth in the OUA standings with a 10-10-2 record.

The win also broke a fourgame losing streak that included three shutout losses.

Saturday, the Lancers had 35 shots but were blanked 5-0 by the UOIT Ridgebacks.

Julia Ouroumis faced 27 shots for Windsor (9-10-2).
