Lancers volleyball

The men’s volleyball team at the University of Windsor went 1-1 on the weekend in their final home games of the season.

Sunday, the third-place Lancers fell to the Mcmaster Marauders 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-13 ) at the St. Denis Centre.

The Lancers beat the York Lions 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 21-25, 2519) Saturday.

Oake Harrison had 13 kills, Kyle Williamson had 10 kills and Laine Poirier had 13 digs during Saturday’s win.

Windsor (10-6) closes out the regular season next weekend with road games Saturday at the RMC Paladins (0-16) and Sunday at Queen’s Gaels (10-6).

In women’s volleyball, Windsor lost weekend games against Mcmaster and York at the St. Denis Centre.

Sunday, the Marauders beat the Lancers 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 2514).

Saturday, the Lancers lost 3-0 to the Lions, sparked by Chelsey Drouillard’s 17 digs. Jessica Shepley had 12 digs and Kaila Seguin had seven kills.

The Lancers will play RMC (6-8) Saturday and Queen’s (115) Sunday.
