Charity calls on Spitfires fans
The Salvation Army is hoping hockey fans will “drop their gloves” at the Windsor Spitfires game on Thursday. The local Sally Ann has partnered with the Spitfires and will place bins at a few of the WFCU Centre entrances for those who wish to donate new, adult size gloves and socks. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday as the Spitfires host the Saginaw Spirit at the WFCU Centre. The donations from the Drop Your Gloves campaign will go to the Salvation Army Windsor Community and Rehabilitation Centre.
