Housing homeless good social policy

I am a nursing student working toward my bachelor’s degree in nursing through Nipissing University. I am assigned to research homelessness in Windsor and, as a result, I have found it very poorly dealt with.

We should look at how the city of Medicine Hat has eliminated homelessness. Putting these people in houses first has saved healthcare dollars and resulted in fewer emergency room visits. Letting them live on park benches causes serious medical problems that can be avoided if they had a home.

If we follow Medicine Hat’s footsteps, I believe Windsor could be the second city to end homelessness.
