Three men sought in armed robbery at store

Windsor police are looking for three masked men who robbed a convenienc­e store of merchandis­e while armed with a pistol and a knife.

The crime happened on the night of May 4, around 9:40 p.m., at Elias Convenienc­e, 61 Shepherd St. E.

The three suspects entered the store with one of them pointing what appeared to be a handgun at the lone store worker.

The clerk immediatel­y fled to a secure place in the store.

The three robbers quickly took a quantity of merchandis­e, then fled the store on foot.

They were last seen running northbound toward the 1400 block of Dufferin Place. No one was hurt. The gun-carrying suspect was described as a white male with a medium complexion who appeared to be in his early 20s. He wore a black mask that concealed his face from the nose down.

At the time of the crime, he was wearing black pants and a hooded sweatshirt with a blue stripe across the chest with the word “HABITAT” in white letters.

He was also carrying a blue University of Windsor shopping bag.

The second suspect was carrying a knife in his right hand.

He was also described as a white male. His face was covered with white fabric.

At the time of the crime, he was wearing black pants, white running shoes with black soles, and a black hooded jacket with a white stripe across the chest and upper back.

The third suspect was described as a white male wearing black pants, black shoes with white soles, and a navy hooded sweatshirt. He carried a black shopping bag.
