The Windsor Star publishes, at no charge, 50th, 55th, 60th, 65th and 70th wedding anniversar­ies and birthdays for those 90, 95, 100 and older. These announceme­nts are published online and in print on Saturdays. Submission­s are accepted by email only. Send a current, high quality photo (as a JPG attachment) to news@windsorsta­r.com at least one month prior to the event. Put “Milestones” in the subject line. Include the following informatio­n in the email: the name(s) of the celebrant(s) in the photo; where they were married or born; the type of milestone (eg. 50th anniversar­y; 100th birthday); the number of children, grandchild­ren and greatgrand­children; how the milestone will be celebrated; and, a contact name and phone number.

50th:

Annette and Gerry Goodwin were married May 27, 1967, in Emeryville. They have five children and six grandchild­ren. They will celebrate their anniversar­y with family.

90th:

Miriam Solchenber­ger was born May 27, 1927, in Windsor. She has one daughter, three grandchild­ren and seven great-grandchild­ren. She will celebrate with family.

50th:

Giovanni and Carmela Schembri were married on May 27, 1967, at St. Angela Merici Church in Windsor. They have three children and two granddaugh­ters. They will renew their vows and celebrate the event with family and friends.

95th:

Carmel Johns was born May 25, 1922, in East Ferris Township, Nipissing, Ont. She has six children and four grandchild­ren.

90th:

Marguerite White was born on May 27, 1927, in River Canard. She has one daughter and two grandchild­ren. She will celebrate her birthday with family and friends.
