Firehall location not best for LaSalle

-

Why is Hazel Street even a consideration?

There are no sidewalks, no curbs, a beautiful children’s park that will be diminished and inadequate services to sustain a firehall.

Every time a responding vehicle leaves, there will be total disruption for that particular section of the neighbourhood, not to mention what it will do to property values.

A much more viable option would be the site of the former arena on Front Road.

Access to a major road, services already in place, better geographic location for total neighbourhood accessibility and favourable zoning.

Is there some hidden agenda here?

Why locate and disturb a neighbourhood when it’s not necessary and not in the best interests of the citizens of LaSalle?
