Vibrant Riverside benefits whole city

Re: Council approves a ‘miracle’ for former Riverside arena site, by Brian Cross, June 19.

Thank you to the mayor and city councillors for their decision to approve the application for the Miracle Field project that’s been put forward by the Riverside Minor Baseball Association.

Thank you also to the dedicated working group and visionaries behind this plan to improve accessibility and inclusivity in sport and recreation to the benefit of the entire city.

Although this initiative has been spurred by a sense of community and identity of a particular area of the city known as Riverside, it is also clear that the heart of this project is to benefit children and adults throughout Windsor.

Strong vibrant neighbourhoods create a stronger more livable city.
