Windsor’s Andrew Garant is passing on a chance to play in the Arena Lacrosse League.

The former captain of the Windsor Clippers was the 62nd selection overall in Saturday’s ALL Draft by the Paris RiverWolves.

Garant was recently in camp with the National Lacrosse League’s Vancouver Stealth, who took him in the sixth round of this year’s draft.

While one of the final camp cuts by the Stealth, Garant still plans to head to British Columbia next month to attend school.

Because of that, Garant said he will be unable to play for the RiverWolves and will instead try to catch on with a Senior A team in B.C. with hopes of getting another crack at camp with the Stealth next year.
