JOBIN, Norm

-

With very sad and broken hearts we say good bye to the greatest man we have ever known. Norm Jobin was born and raised as a Dairy Farmer on the 11th Concession of Sandwich South Township, Ontario, the second child of ten children born to Adeline and Harold Jobin. He was married to the love of his life Rose Jobin (nee Renaud) for 47 years. They had four children; Philip (Jennifer), Paul (Tania), Joie (Scott) Reyner, Joslyne (Michael) Rizza and bragged about his fifteen grandchildren; Alexandrea, Julia, Tigh, Emma, Eric, Bobby, Alexis, Brooke, Maybel, Natali, Emmett, Matteo, Adalina, Marco and Ava. He will be missed by his siblings, Sheila (Tony) Joch, Rhea (Jim) Steadman, Lawrence (Judy) Jobin, Dona (Bill) McFarlane, Gay (Art) Bowen, Lana Phillips, Terri (Richard) Colenutt, Lynn (Ken) Myers and the late Ron (Madeline) Jobin. As a dairy farmer, Norm spent hours milking cows twice a day for 65 years and his dedication to farming was obvious by the way he tilled the land and harvested his crops. His passion was to buy land, make it flourish and prepare for the next season. Norm gave what free time he had as a volunteer firefighter for the Township of Sandwich South (Town of Tecumseh). He wore his uniform proudly and was honoured to be a part of such an outstanding community service organization for 34 years. Yearly, Norm volunteered for the Sandwich South Goodfellows. He enjoyed the comradery and social atmosphere. Norm fought Cancer with everything he had. In the end, he departed this world on his own terms and left in the same way that he came into the world… in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by family. Norm is resting at the
