Enjoy a basketball game while supporting teens when the Town of LaSalle partners with the Windsor Express to host LaSalle Night on March 16. Special $40 VIP courtside tickets are available for that evening ’s game against the Saint John Riptide at the WFCU Centre. Half of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the LaSalle Hangout for Youth.

In addition, each player will be wearing a one-of-a-kind LaSalle jersey. The jerseys will be sold to the highest bidder through a silent auction to be held on the concourse during the game. The LaSalle Hangout for Youth, which was started in 2015, provides a safe, tolerant and supportive venue to provide youth between the ages of 12 and 19 help with homework, supervised socialization and interaction with other youth. “We are honoured and thankful to be chosen to be the recipient of this night,” said centre director Rama Musharbash Kovacsi. “As a wholly volunteer-based organization that is funded through the community, this event will be a great assistance to this free-touse program that assists the youth in LaSalle.”

VIP courtside tickets are limited and only available at the front desk of the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex or the finance counter at the LaSalle Civic Centre. “We are proud to partner with the Windsor Express to bring our community a LaSalle Night at a National League basketball game,” said Mayor Ken Antaya. “We are also pleased to help support the LaSalle Hangout for Youth at this game. It should be a lot of fun.” Game time is 7 p.m. with Antaya taking part in the ball toss. Regular tickets can be purchased online at www.windsorexpress.ca.
