Madonna teases skin-care collaboration
Singer likely to team up with reality TV star
Madonna has hinted at an upcoming beauty collaboration with Kim Kardashian. The singer branched into beauty with her MDNA skin-care line, which first launched in Asia before being rolled out in the U.S. last year. Reality TV star Kardashian has also turned her attention to beauty in recent times, and is behind cosmetics company KKW Beauty. In an exciting twist though, it seems as though the two stars are set to join forces. “When Worlds Collide @mdnaskin @kkwbeauty @nunoxico #bewauty #skin care #mdnaskin #kkwbeauty #thermalwaters #reinventyourself,” Madonna, 59, teased Thursday on Instagram, alongside a video of her and Kardashian. In the black-and-white footage, both women can be seen walking down a corridor together. Rumours of a possible collaboration started to gain momentum after Madonna posted a photo of her and Kardashian to her Twitter account on Tuesday, captioned: “A foreshadowing of things to come.”
Later that day the pair appeared together at the launch of MDNA’s latest product launch, The Reinvention Cream in Los Angeles, where Kardashian shared that she used Madonna’s Skin Serum and Skin Rose Mist to give her face a pick-me-up the morning after partying at the singer’s post-Oscars bash on Sunday night.
“I am a moisturizer freak and it was so moisturizing and I just used (those two products) and got up the next morning and left (to bring the kids to school),” explained Kardashian, 37, with Madonna adding that keeping out of the sun and avoiding smoking “saved” her skin before she could afford to invest in the best products.
