Woman severely burned in fire

The major crimes unit of the Windsor Police Service is investigating a fire Tuesday at the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business that sent a 34-year-old woman to hospital with severe burns. Const. Andy Drouillard said police were called to the university around noon where they found a woman with severe burns and a 46-year-old man with minor injuries. Drouillard said the man and woman knew each other. Details of the fire were not released. No charges have been laid. The university posted on Facebook that some classes may need to be cancelled. Students were asked to check Blackboard sites for notice of any cancellations.
