Elections a chance for open dialogue

As a resident of Windsor-Essex, I am looking forward to the opportunity that the upcoming provincial and municipal elections open up in the way of dialogue between and among members of our community and those in or running for political office. While we may often feel disconnected from the political process, now is the moment to begin to talk — and perhaps more importantly listen — to your family, friends, neighbours, co-workers and candidates so that we can work together to shape the future that we want and need for our region.

If we can all move into the process with an openness for true and sometimes difficult dialogue, we also open up the possibilities for making our region the best it can be for all who live here.
