Seasonal bus route to resume

Want to hit the beach this weekend? The seasonal bus route to recreational attractions in Chatham-Kent is set to resume. Seasonal inter-urban transit route S1 provides service to and from Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie. It serves Chatham, Erieau and Mitchell Bay with stops in Grande Point, Pain Court, Charing Cross and Blenheim. The service starts Friday at 9 a.m. and continues through Labour Day. Route S1 will operate every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Fares are $5 one-way for adults or $4.50 for students and seniors.
