DAmAge in Essex fire ABout $275K

Damage from an overnight house fire in Essex has been estimated at $275,000, according to the Essex Fire and Rescue Service. Firefighters were called to a home on County Road 12 during the early morning hours on Tuesday. By 2:20 a.m., black smoke was pouring out of the three-storey home. Essex Fire and Rescue Service said there were two occupants. They were not injured and have been released from hospital. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
