Lakeshore announces drive-thru voting locations

The Town of Lakeshore has announced its drive-thru voting kit drop off locations and hours for the upcoming municipal election. The drive-thru-drop off voting kit locations will be open Thursday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The drop off locations are: Lakeshore St. Andrew’s Church, 235 Amy Croft Dr., in the parking lot; Atlas Tube Centre, 447 Renaud Line in the back parking lot; former Belle River Arena, 304 Rourke Line in the parking lot; Lakeshore Town Hall, 419 Notre Dame, Lavoie Street behind the town hall; Libro Community Centre, 1925 South Middle Rd. in the parking lot; Shanahan Park, beside Fire Station #2, 1465 Lakeshore Road 203 in the parking lot; Comber Community Centre, 7100 Community Centre St. in the parking lot; Stoney Point Park, 880 Comber Sideroad in the parking lot. A completed voting kit should contain the signed declaratio­n form and the completed ballot sealed in the white secrecy envelope. Both should be placed in the yellow envelope and sealed. If voters are unable to attend any of the voting kit drive-thru locations they can drop off completed voting kits at Lakeshore Town Hall at the front counter; Lakeshore Town Hall after hours mail dropoff boxes at the east and west sides of building; Atlas Tube Centre at the drop-off box at the front desk. The town is also extending its office hours for the vote. Town hall will be open for voter registrati­on, voting and voting kit drop off on Thursday and Monday until 8 p.m.
