May 13, 1942 - February 26, 2020 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Dureno on February 26, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife Carol, with whom he spent 20 years of marriage, enjoying his blended family, Church family and worldwide travel. He is also survived by daughter Colleen, sons David (Jennifer), Dan (Heather), stepsons Frank Foote (Wendy) and Ian Foote, nine grandchild­ren with whom he enjoyed spending time, Zara, Jacob, Olivia, Colton and Jack Dureno and step-grandchild­ren, Rachel, Seann, Sarah, and Claire Foote. He is also survived by siblings Janet Boakes (Gord), Bruce (Sally), Betty and Barbara Lenhart (George) and brother in law Don Miller. Predecease­d by his parents Andy and Effie, first wife Barbara (1999), infant son Donald Mark and brother Bryan (2004). He was one of the original members of Oakwood Bible Chapel where he served as treasurer. Bob trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour and rock of salvation. He spent his 33 years accounting career as Superinten­dent of Business for the Greater Essex County District School Board. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Hospice of Windsor for the extraordin­ary care. Visitation will be held only at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p..m. Funeral service will take place at Oakwood Bible Chapel (2514 Cabana Rd W) on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11 a.m., with Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial.
