THIS JUST IN
AMOREPACIFIC TIME RESPONSE COLLECTION
They say: A collection of anti-aging products that feature “antioxidant-rich green tea,” such as proprietary Chronot green tea water complex to “improve the look of skin elasticity and moisture.”
We say: This lineup of skincare products is seriously luxe, from the gold-tone box and product packaging, to the rich, lightly scented elixirs inside. Our tester used the Skin Reserve Serum,
Eye Reserve Cream and Skin Reserve Cream and was impressed with how it seemed to immediately improve skin’s overall hydration levels and smoothness. $320 to $650 | Holtrenfrew.com
HERMÈS L’OMBREDES MERVEILLES EAU DE PARFUM
They say: A new scent addition to the Eau des Merveilles Collection, which debuted in 2004, this eau de parfum features notes of tonka bean and incense with top notes of black tea. Created by house nose Christine Nagel, the fragrance is billed as being both “woody and oriental.”
We say: Our tester found this scent skewed toward a more masculine profile, making this a fabulous fragrance for exploring more unisex scent offerings. The spicy notes were the ones that remained most prominent for our tester, providing a sultry payoff that lasted well into the evening hours. $187 for 100 ml | Hermes.com
DIOR ADDICT STELLAR HALO SHINE LIPSTICK
They say:
A longtime favourite of the French brand’s beauty lineup gets a shimmering star update. The lip product offers “a holographic finish and luscious lip care” thanks to a formula that promises to provide hydration for up to 24 hours.
We say: This formula is like a balm-lipstick hybrid. Our tester found it provided good moisture and colour, with a pretty shine. While the colour wasn’t overly long-wearing, the product remained comfortable on lips long after the pigment intensity had faded.
