ORIBE GOLD LUST ALL OVER OIL
They say: A multipurpose oil that can be used on hair, face and body. Featuring 17 “intensely nourishing and protective natural oils,” the product promises to “lock in moisture from head to toe.”
We say: This oil leaves hair feeling soft, sleek and shiny. Our tester tried it as both a hair smoother and a skin salve and was pleased with the results. Boasting a subtle scent, the oil has a slight thickness to it that helps soothe skin and strands. While it may be a bit too thick for some skin types to be used on the face, our tester found it worked well as an overnight face mask of sorts.

ESTÉE LAUDER ADVANCED NIGHT MICRO CLEANSING BALM
They say: A lightweight cleansing balm that “transforms with water into a milky emulsion” on skin to gently clean and purify without stripping skin.
We say: Our tester used this as an end-of-the-day facial cleanser to remove the day’s makeup and other impurities. Applied to dry skin, the balm was easy to smooth on. Working with fingertips in a circular motion, our tester massaged the balm onto skin, continuing to do as she rinsed it away. Afterward, her face felt clean ... but not in a squeaky kind of way.

LANCOME HYDRA ZEN ANTI-STRESS GLOW LIQUID MOISTURIZER
They say: A lightweight facial moisturizer enriched with hyaluronic acid, rose extract, amino acids and aloe vera to leave skin feeling moisturized, glowing and defended against “external aggressions with antioxidant protection.” The product is free of alcohol, silicon, paraben, mineral oil and colourant.
We say: Billed as being suitable for all skin types, our tester tried this lightweight liquid on her combination, acne-prone skin. She noted immediate hydration and an overall “glow” after application. Mixed with a sunscreen for daytime wear, the product felt comfortable on skin and didn’t get oily or heavy throughout the day. This has become a new favourite.
